HISTORY OF THE VILLAGE
MIAN GUJAR
Is small beautiful village at the distance of about Eight kilometer from the main Peshawar City. The local population belongs to DAUDZAI tribe of Pukthoon nation. The local language of the people is pushto and most people are employed .

THE VILLAGE:
As far as the village MIAN GUJAR is concerned, so it
is said that about 350 years ago the village came into being. Before the
local population of the area that place was a plain area and was used as
a pastures. Which did the rivers NAGUMAN and river KHIALAY surround. The people
who who have buffalo's and other cattle's for the milk business are called
GUJARS in local terminology .when the local population came here, which were
mostly belongs to MIAN cast ,it's become MIAN GUJAR. Now a days there are no
GUJAR families in the area, and the local population are the descendents
of GHAZI BABA, who migrated from KANDHAR.

Round about 350 years ago GHAZI BABA whose name was " KARIM DAD" migrated here from KANDHAR (AFGHANISTAN). He was r religious person and he came here for religious practice because in those days this area was a jungle, which was surrounded by the rivers. When the Afghan Emperor AHMAD SHAH ABDALI used this path to attack on MARHATA'S ( The battle of PANI PATH), Ahmad Shah Abdali requested him to pray for his success, When he got success, he gave the hand of hid daughter to him . So the local population are the descendents of that GHAZI BABA.
